Shipping and Return Policy

1. Scope and Delivery Coverage

Mangalore Cart provides pan-India delivery, serving metropolitan hubs and remote locations alike. We aim to fulfill all shipments within the stipulated timeframe, regardless of geographic or logistical complexity.

2. Shipping Charges and Offers

  • Standard Charges: Shipping fees are calculated based on volumetric weight, package dimensions, and destination. These are subject to change based on market or statutory variables.

  • Transparency: All shipping costs and taxes are itemized at checkout and included in the final invoice.

  • Current Promotions:

    • 2% OFF on orders above ₹2200 (Use Code: MCDEAL2).

    • Free Delivery on orders above ₹2499.

  • Discretion: Promotional offers are subject to change or withdrawal by Mangalore Cart without prior notice.

3. Timelines and Schedules

  • Dispatch: Confirmed orders are dispatched within 24-48 business hours of payment verification.

  • Standard Delivery: Estimated arrival is 2 to 7 business days, depending on your proximity to logistical hubs.

  • Expedited Shipping: Express options may be available at checkout for an additional fee.

4. Packaging and Safety

We use industry-standard materials (bubble wrap, styrofoam, corrugated boxes) to ensure product integrity.

  • Fragile Goods: Glass containers and perishables receive double-layered protection.

  • Compliance: All packaging adheres to applicable food safety and hygiene regulations.

5. Order Cancellations (New Addition)

  • Pre-Dispatch: Orders can be cancelled within 4 hours of placement for a full refund.

  • Post-Dispatch: Once an order has been handed over to the courier, it cannot be cancelled.


6. Returns and Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns. However, exceptions are made for:

  • Incorrect Items: Receiving a product different from your order.

  • Damaged Goods: Items damaged during transit.

Mandatory Conditions for a Valid Claim:

  1. Unboxing Video: You must provide a video recording of the unboxing that clearly shows the damage or discrepancy.

  2. Timeframe: Claims must be initiated via support@mangalorecart.zohodesk.in within 48 hours of delivery.

  3. Condition: Items must be unused and in original packaging.

7. Return to Origin (RTO)

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or unavailability of the recipient:

  • Refunds will be processed only after the package returns to our warehouse (7-15 days).

  • Deductions: Forward and reverse shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount.

8. Refund Processing

  • Timeline: Approved refunds are initiated within 5-7 business days.

  • Method: Refunds are credited to the original payment method. For COD orders, refunds are processed via NEFT/IMPS after the customer provides bank details.


9. Legal Provisions

  • Limitation of Liability: Mangalore Cart is not liable for indirect or consequential damages or delays caused by "Force Majeure" events (natural disasters, strikes, or government lockdowns).

  • Jurisdiction: This policy is governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

  • Policy Updates: We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the latest terms.
